PLANNING
Purpose :		To ensure that the character and appearance of the village is maintained.
Objective :		To provide the Parish Council with advice on all planning matters.
Activities :		Prior to the monthly Parish Council Meeting to -
		Examine planning applications, making a site visit where necessary.
		Taking into account the Local Plan and using Planning Policy Guidance notes, make decisions on the applications.
		When required, make comments on behalf of the Parish Council.
		As necessary, attend meetings on behalf of the Parish Council.
At the Parish Council meetings :		make recommendations to enable the Parish Council to come to a majority decision.
